إنما الأعمال بالنيات، وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى.
"Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended."
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها
أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل.
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are few."
عن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه
خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه.
"The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it."
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما
بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمداً رسول الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وصوم رمضان، وحج البيت.
"Islam was built upon five pillars: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, paying Zakat, fasting Ramadan, and pilgrimage to the House."
عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه
لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه.
"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
عن معاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه
اتق الله حيثما كنت، وأتبع السيئة الحسنة تمحها، وخالق الناس بخلق حسن.
"Fear Allah wherever you are, follow up a bad deed with a good one and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people."
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه
إنما الأعمال بالنيات، وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى، فمن كانت هجرته إلى الله ورسوله فهجرته إلى الله ورسوله، ومن كانت هجرته لدنيا يصيبها أو امرأة ينكحها فهجرته إلى ما هاجر إليه.
"Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration will be for Allah and His Messenger."
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه
الإسلام أن تشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمداً رسول الله، وتقيم الصلاة، وتؤتي الزكاة، وتصوم رمضان، وتحج البيت إن استطعت إليه سبيلاً.
"Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the Zakat, to fast in Ramadan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so."

عن النعمان بن بشير رضي الله عنهما
إن الحلال بيّن وإن الحرام بيّن وبينهما أمور مشتبهات لا يعلمهن كثير من الناس، فمن اتقى الشبهات استبرأ لدينه وعرضه.
"The lawful is clear and the prohibited is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against doubtful matters has protected his religion and his honor."
عن أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه
من حسن إسلام المرء تركه ما لا يعنيه.
"Part of the perfection of one's Islam is leaving what does not concern him."
عن تميم الداري رضي الله عنه
الدين النصيحة. قلنا: لمن؟ قال: لله ولكتابه ولرسوله ولأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم.
"The religion is sincere advice. We said: To whom? He said: To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the Muslims, and their common folk."
